- Translated user specifications into functional specifications and secured the technical implementation of changes and enhancements to CAPS-I-L.

- Baycom was a software publishing and consulting firm catering primarily to the Mutual Funds industry. Its primary product, SMS (Shareholders Management System), is a comprehensive administrative package to assist mutual fund management companies.
- Managed technical aspects of Network Services Group (RJE, Asynchronous X.25, SNADS) as well as training of the development and support team.
- Managed a client services team for the flagship product (SMS). This entailed liaison with several Baycom clients in concert with business analysts and doing the technical feasibility and specifications of modifications and enhancements to the product. Scheduling and training of resources was also part of this job.
- Very adept at AS/400 Interactive and batch COBOL/400, RPG III, RPG IV and CL programming.
- Have done subfile and data-queue programming in COBOL.
- Was in charge of a client base comprised of 5 banks.

- Provided MIS management with recommendations and proposals for system and programming standards as well as technical advise and suggestions for optimizing processes, both new and existing.
- Was on the team as lead programmer to convert from a UNISYS system to the AS/400 platform.

Capsco Software Worldwide Ltd. — Software Engineer
- Member of the research and development team specializing in porting Capsco's main-frame CICS-VSAM and CICS-DB2 application software (CAPS-I-L) to several other platforms; namely: MS-DOS based PC's, System/38, AS/400, DEC-VAX and Pr1me
- Wrote and maintained a suite of programs that automated the process of porting the hundreds of program source code in the system to the target platform. Note that exposure to Capsco’s application’s functionality was fairly limited – only in instances where code needed to be optimized or resized was there ever any need to delve into the program source code.
